I still haven't figured out how to start threads. But it's okay, I really don't want to or I guess I would work harder at learning how to do it.
So for now, and probably always, most of my posts are random! And only meaningful to myself and maybe a few others. But thanks! This is a great thread.

Not to go full on Wirey here and talk bathroom...but rassin frassin no good no account self-centered egotistical youngins....

I've been on crutches and a cane and frankly the handicapped bathroom is much easier at the moment and a I was hobbling towards it one of our younger, rather physically fit staff, jumps in front of me and goes to it...because you know its bigger....old hobbling guy on cane be damned.......can't WAIT until I'm retired so the young uppity pompous dig dong can support me....

I have noticed (just my impression, I might be wrong) that American men tend to be exaggeratedly caring towards their women.
And sometimes they want to share interests with them...

I wouldn't say it's exaggerated. We tend to promote the idea of a relationship being built upon common interests and friendship. And, indeed, many couples do start out as friends.

I don't have to fret over wondering what to do with my parents anymore. Mom found out, dad said some incredibly stupid things in an attempt to downplay the situation, and my mom is so pissed you can't tell unless you know what signs to look for.

Twizzler alone makes me think "blugh." I think I'd prefer literally almost any other brand of licorice, especially if it's only feels 1% less like I'm eating wax.

I think being different, having different interests ignites romance and chemistry between two people.

I have always had boyfriends with whom I had very little in common. But romantic moments prevailed.

I hate it when people say "yours" as if it is actually yours and you have any degree or measure of ownership. "Your local pizza joint..." If they are saying "yours," it must mean it's mine, which means I want free pizza, at least once a day. "Your representative" is another, as lots of Americans lack that "representation" part. "Your president?" Then the ***** better show some respect and remember who the **** he's talking to when he runs his mouth about transgender people. Or anyone.
