We are the same age...so u can get me..:p
In '99 I was terrified of myself, terrified of the world, and terrified of invoking god's wrath. I can only "get" you so much, less so than an American born the same year. Beyond growing up without cell phones, computers, or the internet, I'm not sure how much I could get you at all (I tend not to).

He's not from a horror movie, but the band Slipknot. They'll slit your throat and do things to the wound, lol.

When you have lots of anger, there are few artist who can channel it like they can.

Do you temenber the 90s...SW?
The phone boxes...with the phonecards...
I kinda miss them:):):):p
I remember a great deal about the 90s. Oklahoma City bombing, Atlanta Olympic bomb threats, cell phones and computers becoming common, the world wide web being invented, grunge, MTV still showing music videos, Cobain's suicide, Bart Mania, pro-wrestling companies fighting to dominate Monday nights, Desert Shield/Storm, Jonesboro Middle School shooting, Columbine High School shooting, Waco, dissolvement and end of the Soviet Union, economic collapse of Russia, hasty and coded collect calls made at phone booths, LGBT having any sort of support and acceptance barely existing, Don't Ask, Don't Tell, NAFTA, Dot com boom-and-bust, AOL flooding your mailbox with trial hard diskettes and later CDs, actual, real music stores and vinyl records, Dee Snyder humiliating Tipper Gore on Capitol Hill, mandated "parental advisory" labels on music records, and a good many other things. Don't know if I miss them though. I do miss the phone being at home and no one being able to get a hold of me, but at least in America my age group didn't see much a point in cell phones beyond emergencies (we also sucked at online searches and didn't even have the right idea or concept of what a Yahoo or Google search actually is), and we had most of the '00s without cell phones and generally didn't have them until we were young adults.

They need to bring back the show Fairly Oddparents... just not in some weird way...
As my youngest two nephews were growing up I watched that show a bit with them to make sure it's appropriate. After watching for just a bit, I think I was more drawn into it than they were.
And then there is Spongebob, which I felt a bit uneasy and awkward watching around children, unsure if I should be watching it with them, and I'm still not sure if that is even actually a kids show or not, lmao.

I am so glad you folks can laugh at my pain......that just means my maniacal laugh during your subsequent maulings should not bother you at all....

SpongeBob is kind of like if Reddit made a show. I'm not a huge fan of Spongebob, though there were a few really good scenes, like the Patrick "Leedle Leedle lee".

All I really remember is Patrick is a hardcore druggie burnout, and just about everything else is a sex joke of sorts.
