This is what I've thought of smart phones ever since they became a thing:

Felt that way about cell phones too once the novelty of the phone not being attached to the wall at home wore off.

I'm a geek, phone geek, but not an uber-phone-geek so I treat them as cranky toys to play with and master. And get annoyed with.

Maybe I should just get rid of my phone and not have one at all so that most of my life will always be cell phone free? I still have some years left before there is a deficit to make up for.

I was looking at the wrong page. There are two of us females most in need of a life. It is the list of top 10 most liked where I am the sole female member. It appears Rival needs a boost.

My head is hurting just enough to make my wish the friend's I'm visiting today weren't "truthers." I normally just debate it if they bring it up (and it gets really absurd and absolutely ridiculous at times), and it doesn't bother me, but today I'm just not in the mood.

I had a good time at my friends, despite aching knee, very overactive bladder, and fatigue that had me leave early. At one point in time I did notice the gathering looked like it could have been on the set of Duck Dynasty with all the camo clothing, beards (every guy had one), and mountains of "dive right in" finger food of a shrimp and crawdad boil.
I also realized I have been out of the country and "red neck" territory for a while. I do miss the food.
