And don't get me wrong, there have been a couple times when a cop has pulled me over, gotten crappy, and I had to remind myself who I'm talking to, I get argumentative with bosses, I'm prone to flying off my handle when people tell me what to do, and I basically have no respect for authority for authority's sake. I'll move mountains for good leaders, but as soon as someone gets too bossy for my liking they get to see the "unmovable object that is only moved by my unstoppable force in tenacity" part of my personality. I sometimes even come off as mean, cold, and calloused. But it's whatever. Learned, experiences, or part of my Asperger's, the "fighting Irish" stereotype is alive and well in my mom's family.

I've had some more time to think. I've decided I'm going to contact relevant professionals about Transitioning soon, meaning Hormone Replacement Therapy. I decided my desire for such a thing is greater than my fears of things going wrong and the what-ifs.

the what-ifs.
In anything in life, the what-ifs are motivation and life killers. They aren't certainties, they aren't definites, they are nothing more than hypotheticals that exist in a world of probabilities. Most of them won't ever come to fruition. "Should have," "what if," "whatever things not manifest in the world beyond your brain," unless it's an evaluation for a learning opportunity (such as reviewing a performance in order to improve the next time), they'll tear you down every time.

And what are those very few things?
Making PSAs of demonstrating why white isn't a good color for wearing in environments that aren't pristinely clean. Wearing them in his shop while working on dinosaur machines is a bit overkill, but it gets the point across.
