But no moonlight strolls through the woods? No cuddles and snuggles? Dogs might be the best species ever. I mean, look at how much they do for us, they're always there for us, and they just want loves and pets and yummies in return. Cats? They are the highly demanding, want everything, want it now, and they still expect us to worship them. Guys just need to learn to snuggle. The dog gets it!

Me too. It's always been my reason for stating why I'm of a generation who was the last to grow up before technology really exploded and became common place, and not among those who were the first to know only a world with cell phones and the Internet. And there was still definitely a lingering Cold War mentality (it was still going on, after all) that we were raised with then, at least here in America. And I too am heavily biased in calling it the greatest decade ever, just because it's the decade that birthed me. And because the 80s were awesome, I am thus awesome*.
Yes...but as for Italy ..it was a much wealthier and above all...a monoethnic country with less troubles.
