Im not sure such laws would be judged as Constitutional if brought before the Supreme Court. There are lots of state laws strictly prohibited by federal law, such as laws requiring one be religious to hold public office (something explicitly and specifically prohibited in the constitution), and even laws that legalize cannabis (medically or recreationally), and why Obama signed a law telling the feds to leave legal states alone.

I was somehow picked for a republican congressional sampling thing, and though the pretend the democrats are guilty of agendas and biased. So I answered it, and the few things I agree with them on I instead just put no opinion. And I made some edits, like "dangerous abortion laws" and "can we depend on your money and donations and volunteer help? HELL NO!" And, of course, there wasn't even am option for selecting no so I was forced to write in something.

I pretty much hate how disagreement with Republicans is taken for Democrat support (they were so sure I was a solid supporter rather than self-interests only voter of them in Indiana), and disagreement with gun fearing and free speech hating libs is taken for Republican support (apparently Republicans here think I'll be a rabid supporter of them because maybe I guess because I moved here from a True Conservative and Bible thumping state). But, then again, even though I agree with the huge bulk and vast majority of people I've talked to about gun control, people think I'm afraid of them and want them banned whenever I mention gun control or laws. Or they think I'm a card carrying NRA member because I don't support being overly strict with guns beyond probably a ban on handguns (hit and miss if others agree with me on that one point).

Atheists and theists also try to claim me even though I don't claim either of them. It does get old and annoying, after awhile, because so many people have such a fundamentally difficult time seeing beyond a binary that exists only on the minds of humans who believe and accept common (Western) human assumptions about existence.

It is interesting that for all my problems, all issues, for my not coming with the benefit of money, I'm still better off than my siblings, who should be as well of as the rest of there family, but my sister is just a wreck and my brother because of a serious of bad luck, bad decisions, and very hard work is able to get "just enough" of disabilities. And my schooling wasn't provided for, and my medical setbacks are also financial setbacks. But somehow I'm doing better. Just like 20-somethings who think 30 is 50 and yet can't athletically perform as well as me. They should be better off, not looking forward to the rest of their lives poor and in trailer parks.

Some Germans have told me they know what I'm saying, but how I'm saying it is very American. Which I think is helpful because then most times you'll get the correct version of what you want to say. But I never have one around when I need to know how to express something I'm wanting to say in German, especially when it's something that just won't translate over to German by knowing the right words. Or guidance when it comes to putting together more than simple sentences. I had access to them in Indiana, but here do far I don't.If you really like German...you should study it...
