Speaking of which, I think Wu Wei is getting behind on his maulings and pickanick basket inspections as he works long, hard hours to pay for your excessive spending and funds the government through taxes, the government which enforces laws which allow a safer country which allow me to exist so that I can rib people who work hard while eating a jar of peanut butter right out of the jar without crackers.
We need to inspire him to work harder.

Bear vs Man is basically the Bear wins...every single time....what gets me is a 175lbs MMA guy thought he had a prayer against a 1400lbs Kodiak bear in a tug-o-war. Bear basically turned its head and the human went flying.
Basically the winner is decided by who lost least, who got the most points while losing. So it is kind of like 3 people decide to wrestle a grizzly bear and the one that survives the longest, after the mauling wins...they still die....but the one that lasted longer so they win......what a stupid freaking show
So...which do you think would win in unarmed combat...man...or bear

Here's the way I see it:
Man vs. Bear = Bear wins
Man with close-range firepower vs. Bear = Could go either way
Bear with shotgun vs. Man with shotgun = Bear still wins
Man with keen wit vs inarticulate bear = Bear wins & has a nice meal.
Personally, I think they did the show as an educational endeavor, to show all humans that even the very best physically among us is better off if we just don't ever go anywhere near a bear...

Pretty much....as well as frustrate bears...mauling is not allowed
I'm sure the bear was amply compensated for his performance on the show...
