The problem seems to be that Western women in general(and Italian women in particular, apparently) want to behave like men. Lots of sex, no responsibility.

I have personally refrained from thinking Italians in general are as what one person claims. Sort of like how saying "all Americans" is just a dumb statement.

I hate to say it, but I started talking to some lesbians recently, and they're the nicest, gentlest people I have met and very welcoming. They won't hit below the belt like straight women.

Are you absolutely positive that it is not you yourself who is lesbian and in denial? Projecting it onto others, after all, is common amd typical for people who are themselves gay and in denial. People who are confident and secure may wonder, but they don't go on assuming everybody else is gay. And, its pretty much men who go on about women being gay.And she's a lesbian in the closet...
