Borat 2 definitely isn't as good as the first, but it definitely has some pretty funny moments. Rather and mostly blugh though, as it's easily his most scripted stuff and scripted stuff doesn't work well for this style of comedy (because there are no reactions to play off of).
But I definitely foresee red-faced Cons and Libs over it. He got a pack of Trump supporters singing to "what we gonna do" to Obama and Dr. Fauci, which "inject them with the Wuhan flu;: "journalists....chop them up like the Saudis do;" "scientists....gas them like they did the Jews." In "Kazakhstan," they realized their greatest threat isn't the Jew but the Yankee, and they replaced "Running of the Jew" with "Running of the American." A living bobblehead looking thing, "she has just been to Walmart and has her AR-15," she's wearing a red MAGA-stylized Black Lives Matter shirt on, and she "wins America's war on science" by shooting to death a bobblehead Fauci, who showed up to save the crowds with his giant vaccine syringe. And, of course, he interupted Mike "Pennis"'s speech, and popped a comedy cap in Giuliani.

It's not actually random, but I am reminded once when I was told "I can't figure out your source of information."
And the proof is in the adds I tend to read more RW stuff than I do LF stuff, because I have reached a point where I wish I could purge the internet of all Trump and Nunes adds.
And I still get a kick out of my shelf that has Locke next to Engels next to Milton next Marx next to Nozick next to Rawls next to Rand next to Lenin.
And according to some I should movie Nietzsche to my RW list, but he was about tearing down false gods, not worshiping them.
50 Popular Myths of Psychology (or something close to that) is another one of my favorites, just because people often hate hearing what the facts are on these myths, with a few of them eliciting strong responses from people. None more than the parts dealing with the fact AA is not evidenced based and 12-step programs generally don't actually work.
And then a shelf of great literature. Several books and stories are religious, particularly Christian.
And then the Book of Nod. A trophy from a childhood and teenage years that included hefty doses of dark, somber, and macabre stuff in media. Sweet Dreams and Terrible Lies, and vampires that would tear up all other media vampires just because they had an itch (unless it's a Malkavian, then you just don't want to know what they're going to do and you won't be able to make sense of it anyways).

I feel like watching the Crow now. I always did enjoy the mind games Eric played with his killers and associates.

I am worried, really worried.

This morning we popped into sarlat to get id photos for the new requirement for brits living in france to hold a residency card (thanks Brexit). We finalise the applications on monday at the department administrative offices.

First bad news, the photo machine returned my money with the message "your photographs are unsuitable for modern ID purposes" what???

Second attempt was better but i look like an escaped convict. Never mind, it will do the job.

On the way home we had arranged to call in at the doctors for our regular checkups.

When the doc stopped with the stethoscope over my heart and whispered "hmmm" my blood pressure must have shot through the roof.

She said i needed to see a cardiologist, it could be infection from my operations or something else.

Rather than asking me to get the cardioligist number from the secretary she actually made the phone call to book the appointment herself which didnt help the stress level any. When she asked the phone if there was an earlier reservation, stress starts steaming out my ears. When the cardioligist say she will open later on tuesday eaving for a special reservation i am ready to tear down the doctors office.

So i don't know, infection or worse, i will let you know.

That is not the kind of news I'd ever want.

Fingers, arms, toes, legs and eyes crossed for good news SOON.
