I haven't seen a "green screen" like that since Gameboy Tetris (because that and Space Invaders was about all I ever played on it).

Linux mint is a great OS and proof that the reason we need powerful machines is Windows. (outside of video editors and such who really need horsepower)I have one of these
SGI Visual Workstation 230 Intel Core Duo 2.20Ghz, 4gig ram, 500gig drive. | #1817490900
with 2 dual core xeon 1200 processors sitting in the attic. It works great. We used it when the computer set on fire before the new one came.
Running Linux mint now but had Windows 3.1 on it when we inherited it.

I like Linux. What I hope for some day is that they'll find a way to include it on store bought PCs.
Many of the build your PC to spec stores give the option of OS. Its easy enough to install anyway.
That's true. But I'm talking more like Walmart PCs - I once tried to install Linux on a Walmart bought PC and due to the PC having a special motherboard built from the ground up for that PC, hint: the motherboard wasn't even square or rectangular but more like two rectangles attached by a thin strip of electric board - it wouldn't let me install Linux
If it weren't for the hit-and-miss compatibility I would use nothing but Linux because it is so vastly superior to all others.Ahh right. Seen things like that, won't touch them with a barge pole.
Having said that, a few months ago our old pc caught on fire, literally so we invested in dell. Custom motherboard, solid state drives etc,. It came with windows 10, ive not tried to upgrade it to linux.
