As Indiana has very crappy roads, with a highlight being potholes in Indianapolis being so bad that the city paid out money to drivers who's cars were damaged from them, I have to seriously question Biden's choice on Buttigieg for transportation secretary. No experience, and coming from a state where potholes will shred tires and devour anything smaller than a pickup truck.
And not to mention the repressive and crushing speed limits, narrow roads, lack of legal u-turns, obscene no-right on reds with clear vision and legal right-on-reds with no ability to see, the roads and transportation in that state are hideous. They don't even have much in the way of public transportation.

I'm much closer to the programmer side of this for very good reasons (even though I've been retired). I know software development and bugs. I would not go so far as the loaded gun, but do know where the main house powerswitch is.

Perhaps Indiana gave him experience useful to understand
transportation needs, eh. No state is perfect.
