I read that it's related to both Cantonese & Mandarin.

All Chinese dialects are related by written Chinese but many cannot actually speak to one another. And admittedly I am no expert on origins of dialect, I have not seen Mandarin as related to Yue or Cantonese. Yue and Cantonese being Southern dialects and Mandarin being a Northern dialect. But I am no expert so I could be mistaken.

It all needs to be replaced by Meiguo hua (not Yinguo hua).

Why did it take this long for SpaceX and NASA to share satellite location data? (msn.com)

Wile E's big problem was not using Consumer Reports to choose where he got his gadgetry from. He kept using Acme in spite of their obvious manifest design and manufacturing problems.

Lucy decided yesterday to take one last tour of our grounds
yesterday, so we postponed her trip to the vet. She visited
the driveway, frog pond, hostas (yet to emerge), a rock garden,
& a cairn. But this morning she was ready for her final trip to
the vet. Off she went.
I dug a hole among the black eyed Susans visible from the
kitchen. She'll compost there soon. Hobbs is buried nearby
to keep her company.
RIP, Lucy, one of the best cats ever.

I let it fly in the breeze
And get caught in the trees
Give a home for the fleas in my hair
A home for fleas
A hive for the buzzin' bees (buzzin' beeeeeeeesssss)
A nest for birds
There ain't no words
For the beauty, the splendor, the wonder
Of my...
Hair (Hair! Hair! Hair! Hair! Hair! Hair!)
Grow it, show it
Long as I can grow it
My hair
