Its more like 20 minutes all accounted for.

One idea is to form thinly sliced cooked beet into flowers or roses. I think they are the right shape. I don't know how they will taste when cooled but probably not bad.

A have a cousin who is a chef. Carving vegetables is an artform he has mastered.

That's a surprise. I've never heard that comparison before.

It may just be me, but when a walker tips, there is nothing to move to catch your balance. Loose your balance on crutches, you can move a crutch to catch your balance

Do you have a leg massage unit? They inflate and deflate pushing the blood around in your leg. They're very nice for recovery from knee surgery according to other people. (I haven't tried them.)

No, I am however wrapped in ice a lot. Ice is my friend

It's just you. The whole idea is to not tip a walker so far that it impedes your balance. It's designed that way.

I don't want knee surgery. That is why I never run anywhere -- with the exception of very short jogging on soft ground. My grandfather never had knee surgery, and he walked extensively. My father jogged, and he had to get knee replacements. Connection? Oh, yes. I think there is.

Well, when you lose your balance, it tips, and there is no way to adjust to catch yourself.....

The secret is, wait for it, to not be needy.

I don't jog or run either..... but arthritis can do a number on you

I worked with a guy, who was a runner, ran all the tine, Had both knees replaced....went back to running..... had both replacement knees replaced... I left the department so I do not know if the genius had a 3rd replacement. A good friend of mine was a pro soccer player, then a coach, and needed knee replacement sin his late 30s, but no doctor would do it because of his job. Eventually, in his 50s he slowed down and got both replaced. Now he just manages

I understand that bears have four knees. That's got to be expensive.

It is if you need to get all four... it's even harder to find a doctor and medical staff brave enough to do the surgery....bears in pain are pretty ornery...and they are already pretty ornery to begin with

I've been going on about the knee pains for over 30 years now and the problems with opiates in general but Tramadol working ok since before you developed a fetish for financially supporting Revoltingest.
Go do your own thing!

Sure there is. You pick up and move the walker over to the side that is tipping to recover.

And unlike you, not one of the people I know with walkers (and that includes my wife) had a tipping problem. You must be trying to walk on uneven ground or something.

There is none. Medical evidence shows no solid support for this myth, fallacy, old wives tale, whatever you want to call it.
It's not so much about what you do, it's how you do it, how often you do it, and how long you do it.
You don't want knee surgery. To offer a bit of knowledge I've picked up that affirms how wrong society is about knees, I have torn my knee cartilage swimming, amd even for those with healthy and normal shins and knees there is a risk of knee injury with forceful swimming or doing a lot of swimming.
