I think I've just about had it with this endless desert heat. This is the time of year which is supposedly when we get the most rainfall, but even that's turning out to be a dud - just like last year.

So, I looked up where the wettest places on Earth are, and this is what I got:

Three of them are in the United States, so that would be the easiest to relocate to. Big Bog Hawaii - 10,272 mm = 404.4 inches. That's a heck of a lot more rain than here. How lucky they must be to get so much rain.

Eh. This one was so little at first I thought it was my mom got up to stomp through the house. Because she did. But this shook a wee bit harder than her elephant stomp.

Turns out the earthquake was a 6.0 that was 300 hundred miles away.

At least two days of driving are ahead of me, followed by a day or two of maintenance and repairs.
The transmission fluid drains will be done and the filter changed. Rear shock absorbers replaced. And the oil changed when my drain valve arrives. And then spark plugs and wires.
And I'll still have to replace the window switch and rear bumper. And I want to find an exhaust system for my car that is legal in this state.
