When humans do it, it's called by various other names all amounting to a human predator pretending to be something else to get close to the prey.

At least with dogs, it's much easier to wash off. With humans, it's buried deep in the brain.

My dad managed to do that. But he's very careless, doesn't concern himself with safety, and tends to break more stuff than he fixes when he attempts a repair.
But he's never offered to make good on all the times he's broke something on my cars.

My dad is so stupid when it comes to that sort of thing he actually encouraged me to put off replacing bad shocks in my car.
