Tell me more about explosions in the injector system. I want to know.

Does this happen more frequently with increasing age of the engine or is it something that occurs in engines that are just getting broken in?
"Air blast" diesels use highly compressed air (1000 psi or so)
to inject the fuel under full compression (about top dead center).
They use 2-stage compression. To avoid auto-ignition of the
oil in the air, it must be cooled before the 2nd stage.
There's more info, but I don't want to send anyone into
paroxysms of delight in antique engine knowledge.

Thanks for dosing it out. I can't take any more paroxysms.

Really if some day technology can cause human minds to be read.... I'd try to use it to my advantage.... like find out who's behind the technology.... then send to the person reading the feed, horrible things about the person who invented the technology, horrible things that aren't even true.

Just thinking outside the box. And no, I'm not the tinfoil-hat-wearing type who believes that things are reading minds.

I think people can read my mind. I just don't care.

Home owners here on flood plains are not as prepared
True fact:
The city of Kokomo (where the largest Klan rally history was held, one of the two hospitals was established by the Klan, the Klan had a large gathering when I was a little) jeopardized the FEMA funds for the entire state of Indiana over wanting to build a ballpark in a flood zone. They built the ballpark.
Now rent is starting to look more like it does here and you see more homeless in the area.

Wait a minute!! That doesn't work?

Next you'll tell me that it really isn't like two mints in one.
If it's done wrong. Like a cloth mask first then and n95 over that basically does nothing as the n95 can't form a seal. N95 first then cloth, however, does appear to be of benefit.
But you still have to wear them properly, especially the n95 or it won't seal.

Yeah. Doubling the masks probably doesn't work either.
