I actually felt like one the other day.
I told a friend who was expounding on something
that he's "an expert on everything". He said that
he knows nothing about 16th century French opera.
We all laughed.
But then I opined that there was no opera then in France.
He said I'm only the 2nd person to get that joke, ie,
that he knew nothing about something non-existent.
I am now quite pleased with myself.
Beware!
I thought she said...As my wife has said: don't injure yourself patting yourself on the back.
Now we know what interests bears. But there was opera in France in the 1600s..... ok that's the 17th century....but there is a 16 in it
What blood type is it?And my transmission fluid now looks red. Still not very red, but you can at least tell it's red.
I'm still debating if I want to get a drain valve for the oil or not. I think I'd rather take the money and try that grounding voltage regulator thingy. The drain valve isn't going to save that much of a mess or work.
I assume whatever dinosaurs had. What blood type is it?
Oh, type D.I assume whatever dinosaurs had.
New I have come to realize, I picked what is absolutely the absolute worst time possible to ever start building a computer.
I might look into that then. But, my main issue with that is compatibility. If it wasn't for compatibility I would basically have a sandbox of Windows just to use Word along with the rest of the world.Honestly, if my advice is worth anything, you may want to just consider the 512MB Steam Deck that comes out in December. Some people even smarter than me broke down some things regarding it that was useful info. As a result, I'm becoming more trusting that this device may be good. I previously said that it would be about as good as a Ryzen 3400G APU desktop. Nothing has really changed that statement completely, but some smart people were able to pull some more info on the tech. It has 88GB/second bandwidth and Raytracing compatibility. It may be alright. It's probably a little faster than a Ryzen 3400G desktop, but we're talking 10-40 percent faster though, not 2x. But it does have extremely fast storage and getting it on a normal desktop PC is a pain, but this has it already.

And future compatibility is something I'm very much looking at. Ideally, in say 10 years I want to be able to just swap out a few parts and extend the life and be back into "near full swing."
That is a good point. Other than Valve and Steam, the actual software side, their hardware stuff just isn't around very long.Makes sense. These Valve devices often have a short shelf life. Two examples are the Valve Steam Machine, as well as the Steam controller. And I suppose the Steam Link to some small extent, too.
Now we know what interests bears.
I do.do you oh fetid one....do you
I do.
Now....don't take that as accepting your hand in marriage.
I do not swing that way, Booboo!
OK, lets see what this 'Steam Deck' thingy costs....
Updating Steam please wait.....(closing the friends thingy again)...Saying out loud "No way Sid M. You're not going to sting me again....I only buy games that function properly. Usually."
700$ Woah! For that I could get a high end oxyacetylene torch system. I could probably find a mill or a lathe for that or start a small pencil factory.
