As I'm working on paying closer attention to my emotions and working towards being more emotionally aware of myself, I have come to noticed that as soon as my mom enters a room I'm in I am immediately thrown into a state of high alert.

My emotional vibrations, if you will, can be high lately, rather than low. The feminine range of emotions - dramatic, sympathetic, too caring, etc.

At least for some, age is meaningful. My wife is a lot more direct, after menopause and I'm more emotional than I used to be.
