Watching the 1951 version of "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Seen it several times, but I noticed something this time. When Gort first appears and the Army is in front of him, and they all raise their guns and aim at him...without orders..... the guys in the tanks....pull out their side arms..... they're in a tank for crying out loud
