HOORAY!!!!! another person from my office is retiring....this should make all you retired deadbeats happy..... guess who is getting thier duties...... so now I have my job...plus the job of 3 other people too....all are a higher pay grade than I am........I'm so awfully happy....
And the unspoken pièce de résistance that makes the situation complete is that you won't be promoted.

Likely, but I will say, my boss is working hard to get me the promotion, he is afraid I will leave. If I do then iPhone, iPad, Mac, PC, Laptops, and now Email and a few other things....walk out the door with no backup person..... But it is up to my boss' boss and even a little bit on the CIO of the department I work in.....which by the way is not the department I work for
