That's a great point. If we had fancy sensors like the ones in sci fi films we just might detect the paranormal, right? And then we would explain it and thereby make it not paranormal anymore. Like we did with electricity. Which used to be thought of as paranormal. But now it isn't, because the scientists like Nikola Tesla ruined it.
