Coffee is bitter and gross. Tea is superior.

They both have their good points if made well.

I could pretty much guarantee that if i made you a macchiato, with sugar to taste (I don't take any) you would enjoy it. Not bitter at all.

Drunk man responds to 911 call in stolen patrol car, police say (police1.com)

Well, at least it wasn't Florida this time. It was Colorado.

The suspect reportedly drove to a domestic violence call and asked, “Where’s the old man that’s going to shoot someone?”

..

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. — A Colorado man is facing a slew of charges after he broke into a police station while intoxicated, stole a patrol car, led police on a pursuit, crashed and pulled a knife on deputies before he was taken into custody, reported KDVR. Yet what really stands out is that the man responded to a 911 call in the stolen patrol car, police said.

The chaotic incident began just before 3:30 a.m. Monday when Jeremiah James Taylor, 33, broke into a Park County Sheriff substation and stole a marked cruiser, according to KDVR. While in the cruiser, Taylor heard a domestic violence call come in on the radio. The 911 callers later told police that Taylor arrived at their home, apparently intoxicated, and asked, “Where’s the old man that’s going to shoot someone?” Taylor also identified himself as a Park County deputy, the sheriff’s office said.

When real deputies arrived to answer the call, Taylor sped off, police told KDVR.

“One of my biggest concerns was that we were going to have a high-speed pursuit with a law enforcement vehicle crashing into an innocent citizen,” said Sheriff Tom McGraw.

Deputies caught up with Taylor about two hours later and initiated a high-speed pursuit when Taylor refused to pull over. Taylor eventually crashed and ran into the woods armed with a knife, the report said. Deputies chased him down and used a TASER to bring Taylor into custody.

At least one shot was fired; it’s unclear if Taylor was hit, but he was hospitalized with self-inflicted knife wounds, according to KDVR. No deputies were injured.

Another observation I had was that the drunken fake deputy made it to the call quicker than the real deputies.

Taylor is now facing a long list of charges including:

  • Aggravated motor vehicle theft

  • Vehicular eluding

  • Impersonating a peace officer

  • Obstruction
  • Resisting arrest

  • Reckless endangerment

  • Second-degree burglary

  • Reckless driving
The incident remains under investigation.

Marjorie Taylor Greene tells British reporter to ‘go back to your country’ after being challenged on gun control | The Independent

Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene lashed out at a British journalist on Wednesday and asked her to “go back” to her country after she was questioned about her opposition to gun reforms.

On Tuesday, negotiators in the Senate said they had reached a bipartisan agreement on gun ownership reforms as well as funding for mental health treatment and school safety initiatives, bringing Congress one step closer to passing the most consequential federal gun violence legislation in decades.

At a press conference on Wednesday, the Republican from Georgia said: “It’s our job to defend the Second Amendment.”

Siobhan Kennedy, a journalist with British broadcaster Channel 4, said in response: “We don’t have guns in the UK, that is true, but we don’t have mass shootings either. And our children aren’t scared to go to school.”
“You have mass stabbings, lady,” Ms Greene responded. “You have all kinds of murder and you’ve got laws against that.”

“Nothing like the same rates here,” said Ms Kennedy.

“Well, you can go back to your country and worry about your no guns,” Ms Greene shot back. “We like ours here.”

Ms Greene later posted a video of the exchange on Twitter.

“When British press wants to argue about our God-given American gun rights, my answer is: ‘go back to your own country’,” she wrote.
Ms Kennedy also posted about the exchange on Twitter.

“[Marjorie Taylor Greene] isn’t happy with me for pointing out that the proposed gun legislation is not about taking her guns away! nor is knife crime in the UK in any way comparable with gun crime here. There are no ‘mass stabbings’ in the UK. Yet here kids are frightened to go to school?” she wrote.

Ms Greene, a conservative Republican, has been a vocal advocate of guns.

Earlier this month, in response to Canada’s proposed gun legislation, Ms Greene had said that without guns in the hands of its citizens, Canada would be powerless to stop Russian invaders.

In the aftermath of the Uvalde school mass shooting in which 21 people, including 19 children, were killed by an 18-year-old gunman at Texas’ Robb Elementary School, Ms Greene had suggested creating a volunteer militia of parents and guardians to protect schools.

Everyone thought Trump's presidency was bad, but imagine what would happen if this woman was elected President.

Maybe. But I need so much sugar and creamer to take that bitterness out that I would rather just drink a soda.

Real coffee is not bitter but rich, creamy and flavoursome, warm spices and chocolate come to mind.

As i said i drink it without sugar, it doesn't need it.

Green tea, black tea, coffee are all good. You beverage bigots should get with the program.
'Tis not my fault I have highly refined and ultrasensitive taste buds. If only others could taste the full and true taste of coffee, then people would realize they've been drinking something more comparable to battery acid.

You just need top grade coffee, properly roasted, expertly ground and immediately prepared to lead you into the light.
