Here's something I didn't consider in the ongoing Star Trek vs. Star Wars debate.

That didn't happen during the Wild West era. Back then you did not carry your gun with you into a city. It was taboo, bad manners, asking for trouble, people would assume you're up to no good and the sheriff would have his eye on you.
America was actually way more strict and sensible with guns back then. Today it's entirely different because of Republican and NRA agendas (who themselves were against general armament and open carry when it was black people promoting gun ownership and open carrying to enforce their rights).

It does seem appropriate that Spock would have a number around there. He's very well practiced and trained but at the end of the day there is the side of him that's human with Kirk as his enabler.

Although I can be fairly chatty these days, at times - when I come to one of my favorite threads, this one, lately I've drawn a blank what to say.

Then just say stuff. Stuff about stuff. Any stuff, whatever stuff, just stuff about whatever stuff. Stuff is just stuff, but stuff is a lot of stuff. Stuff here and stuff there. There's always stuff and bunches of stuff. Eat stuff, have stuff, do stuff, wear stuff.

Something which has been on my mind is around 2019-2020, when I started to experience gender dysphoria, I thought the solution was "be/act super feminine". But it turns out all I have to do is be "not masculine" and it has the same effects for me. There are some things about masculinity when it applies to myself that make me not feel too good about myself, like when I sported a bit of a beard back when. I've thought about it hard, and these days, I think I take the "Gender Fluid" label, but if I choose to act or look more masculine at times, I just don't want to go all the way with it either. So I guess I consider myself a "leans feminine" personality in general. Though sometimes I act a bit more "macho" on RF than what I normally would otherwise. Since I feel a lot of threads are focused on things like "Insult the person above you", etc. instead of less masculine things like fashion and celebrities (the latter subjects often get eye-rolls on RF).

My preferred pronouns are she/her or they/them, or both used interchangeably, by the way.

Mama bear is smaller than daddy bear
but when she goes on an all-out tear
you should always take maximum care
and make doubly sure you are not there.
