I was unclear.
Good PR (IMO) is to not have a Thin Blue Line flag.
I don't see this as a "culture war".

I hardly need to post that cops are not universally the good guys standing against evil being triumphant. Now if they stopped protecting bad actors and started acting equally to all, I might change my mind.

I wouldn't call it a war but a crisis. We do need people to do the basic gist of what the cops are supposed to do, but the entire institution is so corrupt that people don't trust the cops and people don't want to be them. I just saw a job opening today for the local cops with a six-digit salary range. People want to do something honorable and of good repute and police work isn't it.

I try, but I just cannot get into this new Interview with the Vampire show. A Lestat who doesn't radiate enough arrogance in an hour to power the world for a century is no Lestat. Just being French is not arrogance enough. That's just being French. Get Tom Cruise in here and get some good lines and a good character going. Then we'll get more of a proper Louis, one who hates and despises Lestat just as much as he loves him, a Louis damned to lose and become a true nocturnal predator and not some douche trying to be hip and cool.

I don't see a "crisis". Cops have always been
violent ignorant corrupt goons. The only change
has been ubiquitous cel phones & youtube.
We're seeing what has always been.

During the 60's, I thought that blacks calling cops "pigs" was excessive. Little did I know at the time how some of them deserve that appellation.
