Carrots, potatoes and yoghurt, nice 2 course meal, nothing to complain about
Many Americans would complain there's no meat. I can't say about the rest if the MidWest, but definitely in Indiana a meatless meal can potentially garner stares and questions and confusion.
If a vegetarian restaurant opened there the average Hoosier I don't think would poke it with someone else's 20 foot stick.

Tomorrow as daylight and dark come into very temporary balance, I'm considering the virtues of being unbalanced.

Probably the most shocked I will ever be in my life is when once I was asked if I really listen to Elton John on my own time, the other being Judas Priest.
If it ever happens again I'm going to reply "and, I ****ing LOVE Steve Perry and Journey."

Have I ranted here yet that I hate snitches?
If a snitch gets it as wrong as it was with me, it should be law the one snitched on is entitled to send the snitch to the ER for the stitches. I don't do violence, but I should be able to face my accussor to say mind your own damn business, *******.

I feel confident saying four, or half, of the managers don't like me. It's usually not that high, but then again usual fir me isn't a field that demands high conformity to standards and procedures, so I can't say I'm surprised a higher percentage would clash in some way against someone who very clearly in many ways disregards bourgeois norms and values (the real pleabians, they are).
But the donors like me, I do quite a few things others don't, I stay busier than my coworkers so they can eat my shorts and bite my non-shiny, non-metal ***. I grew up where one of the top centers are. This isn't a top center, but they got someone with the work ethic of that top center and I'd put money on it an equally zealous dedication to working smarter, not harder is see there (seriously, it's a mantra in Indiana. I hear no one but me saying it here).

One thing I'm getting done is posting this image

Probably the only thread this will ever be appropriate for, video editing software carries over terms and equipment from the physical editing equipment from the days of physical film.
I have wondered how they did visual effects on film back then. Undoubtedly thought it took tons more effort to make things look good like I have with ease using software (like no having to use a razor to cut the strip and then piece ends together). Today it's just learning what does what and turning the raw footage into something that looks like you've seen on TV. Back then had to be extremely tedious work.

Look at TOS vs modern trek for example. Stop motion. Models and the rest. And yes to tedious.

They aren't going to let you drive a train
until you show more responsibility driving
a car.
