Good grief.

You can say that again. Re: the butter recall.

Given what I've seen, and sad to say, quite a few people don't know butter is made from milk.

Wait, wait, what? I thought butter was made from bananas, macadamia nut cookies, and olive oil.

Sam had a coworker who could not be convinced cows did not lay eggs.

'Milk and eggs, milk and eggs. Hmm. Milk comes from cows, so... eggs must also come from cows. It's logical because we buy milk and eggs.'

Please don't leave.
I agree.

If the bear runs off, all the riff raff is going to get in. Campers will take over. Picnic baskets will go to waste.

PIES WILL GO UNEATEN!!!!!!!!!!!

The game has rules.
Use them, instead of letting them use you.

Thankful I found a small smoked picnic, a half country ham, and a decent sized turkey breast today. So I'm starting to gather together what is needed for two weeks from today. Blessed -- and know it!

Never bought one that I know of.
But I did buy a small fridge & microwave there
for my tiny house at the museum in PA.
They're OK so far.
I need a new dishwasher. I'm stumped as to what's going to best serve me, and the store employees don't really seem to have much for opinions.

In my circle, Bosch is the brand to get.
For something less spendy, I don't know what's good these days.
My advice....
Choose a brand & model recommended by your local appliance repair company.
They know which ones suck, & which ones rule.

This year I bought a Bosch jigsaw & orbital sander.
(On sale at Menards, with 11% rebates, & additional 2% rebates.)
Both work very well.
And they're a lovely (yet manly) shade of blue.

We have several bosch kitchen things from a small hand wisk to a large fridge/ freezer. No rebates but we've had the fridge freezer over 10 years and no problems (yet).

And my beloved chain saw is bosch

Good advice. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks.

I do have a little money to spend this time around, thankfully.

Yes... manly shades. I'll need to keep that requirement in mind.
