My mom was so bad that absolutely no rap was allowed, period (she even threw a ***** fit over Linkin Park - their earlier stuff), and she even took many CDs of mine based on nothing more than what the picture on them was.

That sounds like my ex's mom. Her favorite bands are Godsmack and Nine Inch Nails, and her favorite NIN song is Terrible Lie. The first time I met her was nothing like what I thought it would be like, in a very good way.

I love Terrible Lie. My mom found she likes NIN due to David Bowie doing songs with Trent. My father has gotten stubborn about music over the years. He's turned all "grumpy old man" on us lately. According to him more modern music isn't "real" music and it takes no talent. I keep pointing out that unless everyone can do it, unless he can do it, it obviously takes talent. Which he brushes off with saying he wouldn't want to make that noise. His way of not admitting he couldn't do it. Rap is the genre most battled about. That and electronic genres.

The movie was good, but it definitely could have been better. The special effects were awesome, but the movie felt drawn out and the overall atmosphere of it didn't feel somber enough and it didn't have nearly enough suspense for the gothic genre.

My stereo's disc changer just started cycling through, in another room, by itself. It is always set to aux for audio from the tv as the disc player doesn't even work anyway. So it just acted on its own. Damn possessed electronics.
