I start doing my new job today. I just hate this waiting. I have to wait for my boss to call me to confirm I can work today, and then I get to wait some more as I wait for the main office to call me with work, and then I get to wait yet again for the departure time.

Pretty much. I was called about an hour and a half ago and given my numbers for everything I'll need and told I'll be called again.
And, in the mean time, if this credit card I applied for comes in I need to get a new rotor for my front driver side tire because it's starting to make grinding sounds. And because I live out in the country, it will take me much longer to run into town to get the part (about 40-50 minutes round trip and time spent in the store) than it will to put the new rotor on (10 minutes if I have to search for a tool or fight with a bolt).
