Getting hit over the head with a clue bat for several decades does help on learn. Of course some are impervious to learning but most do acquire some wisdom with age. I speak personally as I am now 70 years old which to me is a totally bizarre number.

Today I drove to Fort Wayne (on the Eastern border of Indiana), all the way to Merriville (on the Western Border), and back to Fort Wayne. And I was called at 6:16 AM and given just an hour to make an hour-and-a-half drive. At least I had time today to stop and eat though. It was early in the trip, but better than going all day with just a donut (which was the first thing I found as I was woken up and very shortly after hurrying out the door).
Crappy part is I can be called back out for another trip at 1 in the morning. Or, maybe, if my understanding of how things work (which isn't very good as nothing was well explained - if explained at all), I may be called back in at 8 in the morning. Regardless, I'm too tired to go back out at 1.

I still confuse eight and nine, and Thursday and Tuesday.

Most of the time when I want to use one of them, I count the numbers/days in my mind to get it right.

Ugh....just found out today that we need a bunch'o money for engineering work on a project.
I need to find another investor or scrape it up meself.

This is gonna be a rough few months. I'm not even back on the board, I'm not zeroed yet on my time, and I just got a call to go on a four - five hour trip 15 minutes after my nine hours.
I can't do that one because I'd be driving while having been awake for 24 hours, and my body isn't adjusted to sleeping a solid eight during the day time. And god how this is going to make going to gym really hard so I don't turn into a lazy sedentary out of shape slob.
