It's just after 8 pm and I think I've been ready to go to bed for an hour already. Not gonna happen though. Just put yet another load of laundry in the washer. Yay. Been dealing with head lice today. Both my kids home from school for treatment. I guess it's going around pretty thick at the school. This is the third time I've treated my daughter in a month.

Both my kids home from school for treatment. I guess it's going around pretty thick at the school. This is the third time I've treated my daughter in a month.

I would have much rather dealt with the truck as well. 2 hours. 2. That's how long it took me to comb for nits in my daughter's hair. My son's hair is short and therefore much quicker to get through, but hers...ugh. My head itches just thinking about it. I keep thinking I must have some in mine, but I can't find anything, but with or without them, I itch. It's just one of those things, you hear about head lice, or know someone who has it and...*scratch scratch scratch*. I'm probably going to do a shampoo treatment on myself tomorrow just in case.

After you apply the Kwellada (sp?) and their hair is dry, comb and then use your vacuum to clean off the dead ones. When I was a kid this was a fairly typical thing at my school.

Wouldn't the need to only autoclave their rings?

We were so poor that lice avoided us.
I never even heard of a kid with lice.
Prolly only the rich ones had'm.
