I think I would have been happiest as an English teacher but when I was considering what I wanted to do with my life in the 70s I thought I was too shy to teach. Imagine! Me shy. LOL. Then came the internet.

I looked at weatherunderground.com just now, & saw that it didn't have the weather for today....Friday!
It showed Saturday.
Weird.
So I checked the calendar on my phone......it showed Saturday too!
I'm sure it's Friday, or possibly even Thursday.....but not Saturday!
It slowly dawned on me that the rest of the world isn't wrong....I somehow lost track of what day it is.

I blame it on doing more real work than usual.

I've adjusted my initial selling strategy to taking requests for consoles.
And I decided I am definitely not doing this once I get into a position where I can make enough money elsewhere, because I already hate thinking of people as sources of money. I even feel like I'm disrespecting my niece that I like because her boyfriend is a potential focal point for earnings, and it's just not me to use people like that.

A little cooler and windy today but at least no rain in the forecast. Should make for a good outing. Today there is a field day for kids at our largest city park in town, then we'll probably head over to the Pages for Pennies sale the library is putting on at the event center, then on to the flea market just across the bridge from the book sale. Full family outing. Sounds good, windy out, but good.

The weather here sucks today. Chilly, drizzle, windy, it just sucks.

I did get these lamp speakers, that have jets that shoot water up to music, and it has blue, green, and purple LED lights lighting up the water and base. They are really cool while listening to Tool! They don't do much during Parabol, but they start to come to life during the transition to Parabola, and they are really going during that song, which is the livelier part of the song, a joyous celebration of life, and it is totally awesome with the speakers!!

The weather here today is fabulous for landscaping!

Well the "flea market" was a bust. Sad, sad little attempt at nothing. The field day was okay I guess, but it was so breezy and cold we didn't stay long enough to do much. Kids did get to decorate cupcakes and paint flower pots to plant marigolds in. They did manage an obstacle course too. The real highlight had to be Pages for Pennies. I restricted myself from buying anything as I have a book backlog big enough I really shouldn't buy anymore for a while, but the kids and hubby got several things (we had to use a cart).
