For those with telescopes: this week Jupiter and Venus will be brigh. Mercury reaches its inferior conjunction. For those in the northern hemisphere Orion will be hanging about.

I usually just use eyes and binocs...but it won't matter this week, as we are supposed to have overcast skies and nonstop rain through next Monday...and unfortunately, them weather-predictin' people have been pretty accurate recently...and when they've erred...or is it aired?...it's been cloudier than what they've predicted...
