I'm probably going to starve this evening.
It takes longer than one evening to starve.
(Dude, just go knock on the back door of a pizza place and ask them if they had any pizzas left over from cancelations or mistakes. I used to do this when I was a hitch-hiker and it usually worked).

Yeah, but what I didn't bother to tell you is that this is the 27th evening in a row that I haven't eaten and I'm really dizzy and weak...I think my number is up.
I has no car and am unwilling to walk this evening.

My 13 year old son brought me a box of blueberry muffin mix and asked me to bake him some. It is 90 degrees. He wants me to heat the house baking muffins. I don't think he has any sense, but maybe he is just thinking with his stomach and mouth. Either that or he likes a hot home.
