Monta, i have questions for you. i am about to ask

how did religion come about, Monta? How?!
and where did it come out? was it chicken or egg? say it!

.

Probably egg, I'm pretty sure it's egg but I have to leave the tiny particle of doubt for the possibility of post ovular mutation, Hammer House of Horror style, only with chickens :)

I think religion is born out of our limited understanding of cause and effect, mixed with egotism, mixed with superstition born out of an over active pattern recognition ability mixed with story telling, mixed with a hunger for power, possibly mixed with other things :) I bet you are glad you asked now.

Why is it that when you need something you can't find it, and when you don't need it anymore you finally do find it.
And then when you need it again it mysteriously disappears. I have no idea.

I remember taking a book out of the school library and not returning it for years. I would occasionally find it and remember, but then it seemed to disappear. One day, when I did find it, I made sure to put it with my school things. Finally returned it. :p

I think the fact that it was so darn thin meant that it could hide among my other books. I think it was a Where's Waldo? book, or something like that. No educational harm done. I think the librarian even forgot about it: I never got a reminder.

I haven't eaten all day and have just had an energy bars and a coffee. I kind of feel sorry for you all :(

Don't worry, I used to walk 3 miles away from home as a form of exercise. It's quite painful on the legs.
