Bella, my one year old niece, followed me down the hallway and tapped on my leg. When I turned around, she oustretched her little arms and said "Up!". Wasn't much but such a sweet little gesture. Made my morning.

Kiribati is already into the new year. It is 8:42 a.m. January 1, 2011 there.

I'll be watching the new year mass of Pope Benedict XVI on Vatican. I just love listening to the choir and their songs.
