I'm currently working on an essay discussing Dadaism (in particular L.H.O.O.Q. by Marcel Duchamp) and Heart of Darkness. About 1000 words in I realised that Heart of Darkness actively avoids interpretation and Dadaism mostly just looks to offend people. Going to be interesting trying to stretch that for another few thousand words.
