They sound interesting, though. Right before your brain implodes.

Why do humans wear shoes? Sure, it might be useful sometimes, such as for protection, but why else place your feet in those monstrous contraptions?
-shudders at the thought-
I would walk barefoot, but right now it is a bit cold out. I also might step on glass, gum, or a needle. Some kid a couple years back was sliding down the slide and was stuck by a hypodermic needle someone (a drug user) left behind in the sand.
Cold, pfft
Ouch about the needle though
Yeah, that's what my husband said. He grew up in upstate New York and he said he'd run out in bare feet in below freezing weather. He says Californians don't really know what cold is.
80,000 genes? Where in the sequence did Gene Hackman end up?I sequenced over 80,000 (yes 80,000!!!!) genes this week.

Man, my friends are into some of this new age-ish spirituality stuff, but its the apparently semi-more-legit kind of new age-ish spirituality stuff that has just arisen in the last couple of years. E.G. Pleiadians, the earth coming to an awakening soon etc.
Nonetheless, my point is, it's all neat, but why the heck does everything they want to show me have to be a video? Why cant I read these ideas like the old days? Videos that have some kind of spiritual ideas in them are annoying, I just want to read my spiritual ideas, I want written sources!...
Kids these days and their "Awakening Messages"
Now that you mention it, I don't like videos myself. I have a very slow, dial-up modem (I know I am still in the dark ages with computers) and just having a video with no explanation is kind of irritating and depressing. I'd rather read, anyway.

Or maybe it's just that the ideas being presented don't hold water when you can quickly re-read the passages that seem a bit off on the first reading, or when you can easily stop mid-way and look up a point they made to confirm that it's correct.Dear God, you have dial-up?? You poor thing
Yeah, those videos will have some kind of soothing or mystical music, pretty pictures, and then either text on the screen explaining the ideas, or some person who talks over the pretty pictures. For some reason, it just annoys me. Why the hell cant they just write a proper article or essay on the ideas??
Maybe this is just the generation we are coming to. People convey ideas and things through video now...
Not me. Too many hills to walk up and down.I want to become a mountain hermit.

If I've got to be a hermit, I think I'd prefer to be a tropical beach hermit. Or maybe a couch hermit.
