We are back from vacation and quite tired. I need a vacation from my vacation.Long drive. Not cooking tonight. Time to dial up Pizza Hut.

Well, I guess his sister likes me. He told me that she told him that she likes me and his reaction was "Really? Why?" He was surprised, I guess, because she's never liked any other woman he's ever been in a relationship with. He kind of expected her to not like me and find something wrong with me, as she's done with every other girl.

Feeling rather horrible right now. On our trip out to NY, at a rest stop, I pulled a plastic sack we were using for trash and tossed it into a trash can. I didn't bother to look in the sack, just tossed it. A couple stops later down the highway my daughter was asking for her favorite teddy bear. The bear she takes everywhere. The bear she has slept with and taken everywhere with her since she was maybe 1y/o. The bear with the fuzz rubbed off its nose and its fur gone in small spots from excessive love. This bear...was dropped into that trash sack and the kids didn't tell me and I didn't look. I tried to placate her by giving her a stuffed toy of mine that was brought along because she liked it so much and it seemed to work well enough for the time being. Now that we're home now, and she's playing in her room with all her regular toys, she's beginning to ask for and beg for her teddy bear. In tears wondering why I can't bring it back. I feel like absolute crap.
