PICKLES THE KID
So I found out this today: My dad has to leave for New York before I can go to Colorado Springs. And on the plane, I have to be babysat because I'm 15 years old or older. -_-Oh well, at least my dad is only gonna be gone for a couple days and when he gets back I can go to the airport! I'll see my aunt in the middle of July most likely!! And I can have lunch with Sunstone and tumbleweed around then! :D

So, I found out how my hair is going to be curled on Promotion! My Belieber Bud from school, Valerie, said her mom wants to do my hair.:) I'm uber excited for promotion and Spring Festival this year, but I don't want to leave Pepper Drive. ):

Congrats to all of you who are finishing exams and looking forward to end of the year milestones!

My girls have their end of the year awards ceremony next Wednesday. I'm taking the day off to celebrate with them.

I have a migraine -- a big migraine.

What treatment do you take for it?

Ever use biofeedback?

Biofeedback for the treatment/prevention of migraines
The current scientific literature regarding the use of biofeedback to treat migraines is remarkably consistent with the popular claims on the world-wide web (e.g., the National Headache Foundation website: National Headache Foundation). Many controlled studies have been conducted to assess the efficacy of biofeedback on both adults and children with migraines. Results from these studies suggest that biofeedback, especially temperature biofeedback, is effective in treating episodes of migraine pain, as well as preventing future episodes from occurring.
For instance, in a pilot study (Powers, Mitchell, Byars, Bentti, LeCates, et al., 2001), 20 children who had been clinically diagnosed with migraines underwent a one-hour session of what was termed “biofeedback-assisted relaxation training (BART)”. During this time, children were taught relaxation techniques while there “peripheral body temperature” (PBT) was recorded. The results of the study showed that children were able to raise their PBT after BART, and that headache severity, frequency, and duration decreased. “In general, 85% of parents reported that their child was functioning “better” at T2 [after BART] as compared with T1 [before BART]” (Powers, et al.).

Where was my babysitter? I was never offered one. :(

In other news: a week and a half and I can take a short break before the summer semester. Then again, I need to go to that training thing. -groans-

But minus the stress and headache and insanity, I'm doing well! :D (Until my cumulative exam of horrors, at least.)

But this slower-than-dial-up-with-a-weekly-quota-of-47-MB-connection is incredibly irritating.

I think you need to play some lol to cure it :p

I hate to break it to you, but I don't think my Minions will be too happy with me in my current state. :p

I take aspirin medicines for it, albeit rarely (as I know that aspirin doesn't exactly have the best side effects).

Thanks for the info, though; that looks very helpful.
