Haha I love it! I thought for mine, a picture of Alice on an acid trip but I guess they already made a character and story about a girl with coincidentally the same name as me.
Freddie Mercury (I really liked that picture) was one of the best singing voices in Rock music. We've missed him these past 20 years.

New can of shaving cream this morning. I hit the button to dispense some into my hand, but something strange happened: in a fraction of a second, it blasted foam everywhere. All over my face, all over the mirror, all over the counter, even a bit on the ceiling.

The world needs more renaissance men.
Just reading the words of some of the great critical thinkers gives me hope and motivation to learn all I can so that I can be a genuine resource to a lot of people.

I want to teach people to be self reliant, think critically, and teach people to teach themselves. I saw a tv show today on either National Geographic or the History Channel where the host went to a prison in the Phillipines. This prison did not have walls (it was out in an area where it would be unsafe to try and escape due to mosquitos etc.) where the prisoners were not kept in cells and good behavior could earn them a number of privilages including a spot of land to build their own house on, and some even to have their families come live with them. Just the fact of encoraging positive constructive behavior and a sense of human dignity seems to go a long way. Apparently some of the prisoners were there for some pretty rough crimes too, but people got along.
We need to seriously rethink the way we educate people, methinks. If people were to have instilled in them a sense of human dignity and healthy confidence, I think people could be encouraged to be self reliant, take care of themselves and be happy about it, and do their jobs well simply out of self motivation to do things to the best of their capacity. People just need something encouraged in them...

Why does every single watch I buy freak out? They either stop working or (if I have an analogue watch), the ticker will occasionally go backwards, and I'll end up with my watch an hour behind every day.
Why?!
My mom can't wear watches, either. She says she has some kind of electrical field or something like that. Watches always stop working when she wears them.
