I plan to use Habitat For Humanity to get rid of all my excess building materials.
It's so much easier than selling them myself, & I get a little tax deduction....er...."tax loophole".
(That's what deductions are called these days....right?)

I think I have to share a question from the test for my new employee orientation:

The Conflict of Interest Policy requires that we:

A. Behave in an objective and ethical manner.

B. Behave to serve our own interests at the expense of other employees.

I seriously hope that nobody answers that question wrong... though the fact that they have to ask it probably means that sometimes, people do get it wrong.

Such a weird dream that I have. In my dream, I am sweating out blood, especially from my forehead and no matter how I try drying it, it just don't stop. Oh boy...

Ever had a lucid dream? little after I started having them, I ceased to have nightmares at all.

One can't definitely select his/her dreams but it can help. And yeah I practice that.

Well, all dreams are selections of the subconscious. The more you know yourself and are able to mantain harmony with yourself, the highest likability you ll dream what you want.

That's not what I learn from my lessons in psychology. The reason why it's termed subconscious is because you're not/ only partially aware of it. Hence you cannot select it. But you can somehow reverse it.

Oh, naturally, but partially there is the key. You can also program your own subconscious to work for you. Actually that's what the training to lucid dream is all about.

So therefore it's not really selecting but rather modifying or reversing. ;)

i d say it is a form of selecting. In any case, I define my subconscious as part of me, so as long as that remains the case, "me" or "I" choose what I think.

Even if it is the "Me" I am less acquainted with :D

As far as I'm concerned, if you are able to select it, then it already becomes a part of the conscious mind. I studied psychology and psychiatric nursing btw and your view is not how psychology in general views this thing. I can't agree further except on the part of the lucid dream. There are just somethings in our self that we cannot select or control fully, like our reflexes ( e.g. we cannot stop our heart from beating, nor can we hold our eyes from blinking forever)and this thread is supposedly for meaningless stuff now all of a sudden it has somehow a meaningful discussion on it. :p

I did understand you, thats how I got you didnt understand me :p

I told you that whatever MY subconscious believes is still MY (subconscious) choice. You misinterpret it as if I was saying that my conscious self is aware of which choices my subconscious makes or as if my conscious self decides all my subconscious choices.
