Halloween is too important to wait & improvise.
My favorite is a giant $100 bill with a cut-out for my face.
I replace Franklin. It took a while to make, but it's striking & fun.
Another is my lawyer costume. I attached a stuffed cloth fin to the back of a sport coat.
And I wear a small shark mask on my nose. I also carry business cards.....

I just found out that a friend of my best friend has always hated me, dating back since high school, because she thought I had a "thing" for her guy. Now the funny part, I have no clue who her guy is or was at all. I don't remember him or have a clue about him. Seen pictures, don't ring a bell, totally isn't and would never have been my type. Despised for 2 decades over a guy I don't even know.
People are funny sometimes. I would bet that he had a thing for you, and it was easier for her to be mad at you than feel rejection from him.

My BF and I actually talked about that. That her husband perhaps knew who I was and maybe liked me and it got back to her somehow and she took it out on me. They've recently divorced so perhaps she'll finally listen now and not harbor resentment at me. Not that I really care though. I've never had any reason to care much for the chick anyway.
I think that's why I had the reputation I had in high school though. I only had a small handful of female friends and most of my friends were guys. I was a tomboy really. Took the auto and tech classes, did the weight lifting and hockey electives in gym, hung out with the guys. And thus...I was the ****. The girlfriends who got broke up with all seemed to blame me because I was the girl their boyfriends hung out with. I just must have been sleeping with all those guys.
Nevermind the fact I was a virgin til I was 18, engaged, living states away in the Navy. :sarcastic

Like, 15 minutes ago, the server was "too busy" and I was all "oh no! I can't access RF!!" and then I almost had a heart attack. Then I drank coffee, had some sunflower seeds, drew a potential tattoo and forgot about it until like 3 minutes ago when I remembered and decided to look back at RF and it was ok so I came here to share my story in a run-on sentence kind of way

That's sad. Jealousy that bad is never a good thing. Just keep in mind that it is her problem, not yours. I think you are pretty nice, so she has a big loss.
