Sorry, not interested.

I also don't think you would resort to such luxury. I think you're the type to have a picnic with cheap sandwiches and generic store-bought orange soda, and invite @Wu Wei - with all due R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
so...I'm getting a pick-a-nick basket......HOORAY!!!!

So

When EXACTLY...am I GETTING my pick-a-nick basket

Aupmanyav

Be your own guru
@Aupmanyav is a walking encyclopedia of Hindu knowledge, and I appreciate that.
I find @Vinayaka 's focus and love for his religion inspiring.
I get much of my information from Wikipedia. :)

For @Vinayaka, I would say this:

"yadā sanharate chāyaṁ kūrmo’ṅgānīva sarvaśhaḥ
indriyāṇīndriyārthebhyas tasya prajñā pratiṣhṭhitā
"

One who is able to withdraw the senses from their objects, just as a tortoise withdraws its limbs into its shell, is established in wisdom.

I've thought about doing a book before. But what it came down to, was that for fiction, no publisher considered the fiction genre to be worth its weight, so it would take remarkable convincing for them to publish a fiction book. Or the writer would have to know the editor, or at least have a good literary agent.

As for non-fiction, it's not that hard to get accepted in theory, but the publisher expects you to have remarkable and amazing credentials quite often, to the point where if your credentials were that amazing, you wouldn't spend time writing them a book for a four-figure advance.

Have you considered self-publishing?
