How about banning aspartame and GM foods like they do in Japan and Europe?
I think banning artificial Trans fats and margarins wouldn't be a bad idea.
In a similar way, I think banning the additives of cigs and making them all like American Spirit and Nat Sherman would be a step in the right direction.
I think this is a better solution, since it allows for more innovation and relies less on just putting a lid on a boiling pot and putting more weight on top of it as the pressure builds.
As a non-smoker, I like walking into restaurants and eating without breathing in toxins unintentionally. But as a wife of a cigarette smoker, I don't like the break in our social activities just so he can go outside to smoke after a good meal.
I also don't like the government passing yet another law telling us what we can and can't do with our own bodies. Rick is right. After the state stops demonizing cigarette smokers, who's next? Bakers? With as many folks, including myself, with a gluten intolerance, are artisans of our bread items going to be targeted for unleashing gluten on the masses?
