Gods anger is not eternal, in order for him to create an eternal hell, then his anger must be eternal itself. God is not going to make an eternal monument to sin, which is what hell would be, a constant reminder of sin and defeat of his plan of human salvation. Jeremiah 23: 19-20, shows that God is angry at SIN, not sinners. His anger willnot turn back UNTIL he has performed and carried out " The Purposes of his Heart." His heart desires that all men be saved, that is his purpose, 1Tim.2:4.
So, you claim to know the heart of god. What about the bible? What about all those verses that say that he's throwing people into the lake of fire, hell, sheol, eternal suffering, weeping and gnashing of teeth, etc.? You're just going to ignore those parts of the bible? But I'm sure you know the heart of god better than the bible.
God himself in Isaiah 57:16;" For I willNOT contend forever, neither will I always be angry, for the Spirit would grow faint in me." Eternal hell requires him to always be angry at sin, thus he would erect a monument of his anger, and give it eternity.
These are Gods own words, why should I believe a Christians words?
Peace.
Wait, isn't god omnipotent? So it seems to me that he could just set hell up and it would burn for eternity without any help from him. He doesn't need to stay angry for hell to keep burning.
And for the record, I am not a Christian.
