I think this thread was meant to be a joke against Islam, Farrukh.
I don't think anyone really is going to confuse, "MaḤaMuDIM" with "Muḥammad".

There was only one Muḥammad.
MaḤaMuDIM is a plural of the root "ḤMD" which means "desire".

Sometimes people make sarcastic threads. Just ignore them.

LOL? no... there's no joke here but your refusal to understand God giving you the clue you Jews were so patiently waiting for.

Muhammad-IM - the IM at the end denotes a sign of respect for a venerated personality... and why would Muhammad not be venerated? He was the final prophet.

And yes, the Prophet Muhammad was most desirous, any who witnessed him claimed he was handsome, beautiful, manly, just, kind, loving, a helper, a comforter, a peace maker and a law giver who reformed the lands of Arabia and gave the people hope of God.

Your denial here is one I find odd.

Let me ask you, as a Jew, do you believe in coincidences?

From what I understand, the word "coincidence" is a false concept in Hebrew, and to Jews in general, for you know as I do that God Wills - and HE is not a whimsical God.

Still a joke to you? Fear God if you are truthful. You too will have to answer to HIM one day.

God Bless you and bring you to light, Ameen.

We haven't been awaiting a prophet. We've been awaiting an actual king.

Ok, would you like to provide an example of another person who's name is written in plural form in Jewish Scriptures as a sign of respect?

And yes, the Prophet Muhammad was most desirous, any who witnessed him claimed he was handsome, beautiful, manly, just, kind, loving, a helper, a comforter, a peace maker and a law giver who reformed the lands of Arabia and gave the people hope of God.

How about the people on the business end of his Scimitar? Would they also find him handsome, beautiful, manly, just, kind, loving, a helper, a comforter, a peace maker and a law giver?

Your denial here is one I find odd.

This wouldn't exactly be be a coincidence, since it doesn't say "Muhammad", it says "MaCHaMuDIM."

Your "coincidence" would be like saying that Jonah 2:1 "VaYiMaN YHWH DaG GaDoL." And G-d appointed a great fish is actually a prophecy about a big dog, because DaG can be read as DoG, when you change the vowel points. Maybe a prophecy for Lassie?

That's not called "prophecy" or "coincidence". That's called, "nuts".

After reading your post, I checked the date to see if it was April first. It's sad that it's not April first.

Huh? You did not refute the post. Weak of you to try and turn it into some lame joke. Look, if You can't debate then leave. Simple.

There's nothing to refute...
You're taking a word that is a part of a sentence and has a specific meaning, and interpreting it to mean the name of your prophet, which has 3 of the same letters.
I've shown earlier than God's name has the same letters as my name. By your standards and interpretations, you should now proclaim me as your prophet.

There's nothing to refute. Your claim is a joke, even to many Muslims.

Answer Tumah, why don't you.

Didn't realise April Fools was a jewish day :D

Look here, your comments in this thread do not actually provide any justification for your views. I asked you to explain but you was unable to, preferring to instead come back with such responses as the one above... you think you're funny, I get it.

Have a nice day :D

That's because he sees that I've already refuted your points and you have as of yet chosen to ignore those refutations. Why should he reiterate the refutations only to have you ignore him too?

For the record you only proved one thing. How to make a mockery out of biblical understanding. You didn't answer anything satisfactorily. In fact I'd prefer if in future you not waste me time with your responses.

You're doing it wrong.

Uh. No. I ask questions. You answer. U do not send me on wild goose chases ok? Good lad

I understand more clearly why you would believe this verse refers to Mohammed. If referring you to two specific posts is a "wild goose chase", there's no wonder you believe to be true something that is painfully and so obviously wrong. Also, I don't know who you think you are but your cyber orders mean nothing to me, ok lad?

You think you understand? Ok, I'll let you think you understand... clearly you do not want to learn.

And so, you post ad hominem.... typical.

For people who think you have some kind of grasp on biblical understanding, I have to do facepalms on your behalf... you guys are seriously in need of education.

No one has been able to answer my questions satisfactorily, and claiming that you have done does not cut the mustard - my questions are STILL unanswered...

come on lads, pull yer fingers out.

When you address Tumah's points, then I'll answer with my own. Until now, you asked questions which started a debate, Tumah countered your arguments, you haven't addressed them and have been blaming it on me. When Tumah gets answers to his questions, then I will answer or counter your arguments.

I'll make a deal with you. Let's ask each other one question each, at a time.
you can start. Ask me any question, but only one. And then I'll ask you one. Tumah's questions were obviously too much for you to handle.
