My daughter, who is half African American, and half white, has four kids, with a white dad so these kids are three fourths white. One of them is SIGNIFICANTLY darker than the others. Is she "black?" One of her daughters is lily white. In fact, my four kids vary a lot in skin tone. And I've shared the story of my GREAT grandson, who is 1/8th African American but he is darker than both his parents. What is he?
