If I could, I would be as Hezekiah.
I would destroy all statues, all idols.
Does this mean that you support the Islamists' destruction of the Buddha carvings?

Is that what the Islamist did? I do not follow Islamists. I follow God. I follow Jesus Christ.Does this mean that you support the Islamists' destruction of the Buddha carvings?
The Islamist (Taliban) followed Hezekiah's example, they destroyed the "idols" or statues of Buddha, for the same reason that Hezekiah did. Would you support a Christian group, maybe even want to take part in destroying these "idols"? A yes or no response would be great, feel free to explain your answer, if you wish.Is that what the Islamist did? I do not follow Islamists. I follow God. I follow Jesus Christ.
Jesus does not tell us to do this. I follow God. I follow Jesus. The Islamist (Taliban) followed Hezekiah's example, they destroyed the "idols" or statues of Buddha, for the same reason that Hezekiah did.
Why are you so contentious? I said I would like to be able to do what Hezekiah did. Hezekiah was a king and had the authority to do such a thing. I am not a king, and my King does not say to do that.Would you support a Christian group, maybe even want to take part in destroying these "idols"? Hezekiah followed God through Isaac.
The Islamic religion is said to follow Abraham through Ishmael.

Jesus is the King.Contentious? No, just responding to your comment. This was a thread about Christmas and idolatry in Christmas and you said that you admired Hezekiah in destroying idols and wished you could do it. Hey, Jesus wasn't against violence; he cleared out the temple with a whip. I think it was a valid question.
