Then what do we call Cliff Burton?

I was listening to Lamb of God, but I had to turn it to some old school Metallica. Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth). A great bass solo, for those of you whose ears haven't been blessed to hear this divine bass solo.

Burton is legendary in metal circles,

Hendrix is just legendary. Incomparable. What he did for guitar playing stage performance and musical passion will never be equaled. He brought us the word. And the word was "Purple Haze"
