Because that's easier than directing their ire at government directly. It always amazes me with things like this, is that they disrupt the lives of those who have nothing to do with the situation.

It's a pretty sorry way of accomplishing their goal.Because that's easier than directing their ire at government directly.
But they're angry. It's a pretty sorry way of accomplishing their goal.
Apparently. I guess in their minds, it does wonders for their cause. But they're angry.
Doesn't that justify violence towards random people & stores?
Operation Wall Street, anybody?
The folks around here are still cleaning up after them.
But is it the real yellow vesters who are doing the damage, or ordinary hooligans and black bloc anarchists? Demonstrations always seem to attract a certain anti-social, anarchic element, unrelated to the actual issues in contention. There are many ways people can express their opinions. Destroying public and private property for 21 weeks in a row is not the best one.
DO something about their situation that do the most damage. Operation Wall Street, anybody?
Yes. Occupy Wall Street attracted the same unprincipled riff-raff and Black Bloc vandals. They're a problem at any demonstration, and provide fertile ground for criticism by the opposition.Remember it well.

Il y a du sang?I really don't care for all the sang stuff.
It is highly questionable whether the yellow vests are "doing something".Perhaps you should ask one of them what it's about. Or perhaps you should ask yourself why the media has not reported on what it's about, already. Either way, if your fellow citizens are moved to actually DO SOMETHING instead of sitting on their butts in the pub, complaining, I would think you'd want to know what's motivating them.
Well, "doing something" is a matter of fact. Your assessment of what they are doing is a matter of your personal perspective. It is highly questionable whether the yellow vests are "doing something".
At least, anything constructive. Anyone can be a pain. That does not help anything.

Sorry, just trying to lighten things up a bit. Blood is kind of heavy, but if you need to speak with it, I'll butt out.Il y a du sang?
Have you seen their list of demands?Well, "doing something" is a matter of fact. Your assessment of what they are doing is a matter of your personal perspective.

I'm sure you've all heard about the yellow vests. They started protesting in October or November. Every Saturday afternoon they block the city centers with their manifestations.
At first most of us were just like "ok, we'll have to adjust to this for a while and then they'll stop and life will go back to normal". That's not what's happening. It's been months and it doesn't seem like they're willing to stop anytime soon. Every Saturday they get together with their buddies to do their thing. Some people go to a football match, others go to their church, the yellow vests demonstrate and leave a trail of destruction that someone else will clean the next day. Public transportation isn't available in the city centers, lots of shops are closed or open without clients, thousands of police officers are mobilized to control the crowds and at this point, nobody know what the demonstrations are about, other than ruining small businesses and annoying the living days out of us.
I haven't been out a Saturday night since this thing started. Ok, there are other nights in the week, but Saturday is Saturday. The yellow vests are ruining my social life!
There, that's my little rant. I feel better now.
It's just a small piece of the big picture.....all nations are in turmoil, just as the Bible warned us. We are seeing the breakdown of human rulership. Democracy is turning on itself. It's weakness is undermining it's strength, just as Daniel said about the feet of iron and clay. They don't mix. It's just another form of human government that has failed.
What next? The Bible tells us. It's going to be a bumpy ride.
